Gaming Keyboard Splitter

Gaming Keyboard Splitter is an app for Windows that allows you to identify the keyboards connected via USB and turn them into independent devices. On Windows, when you connect two or more keyboards via USB, the operating system detects them as if they were one keyboard. With Gaming Keyboard Splitter, you can create up to four virtual Xbox 360 controllers and link them to any connected keyboard.

Assign up to 10 keyboards to 4 different profiles

With Gaming Keyboard Splitter you can associate up to 10 different keyboards to each of the four Xbox 360 controller profiles, as well as add mice. This means you can play games with Xbox controller support with different keyboards instead of sharing one. As well as games, Gaming Keyboard Splitter also supports other Windows apps with native support for Xbox controllers.

Install the Xbox 360 controller drivers first

To use Gaming Keyboard Splitter, you need to have the Microsoft Xbox 360 Controller Driver installed. After installing both of these and restarting your PC, you can customize the presets, assign the keyboard of your choice to each controller, detect the devices in real time when connected via USB, and much more. The keyboards you use must have anti-ghosting prevention, which prevents a keyboard from failing to detect keystrokes when multiple keys are pressed at the same time.
